eSignature Disclosure & Consent

Consumer disclosure for electronic records and signatures under the federal ESIGN Act and state Uniform Electronic Transactions Acts (UETA).

Effective June 7, 2026 · ROSSNEXUS Technologies LLC

1. Consent to Use Electronic Records

By using NexusSeal, you consent to receive disclosures, agreements, notarial certificates, and other communications electronically rather than on paper.

2. Right to Paper Copies

You may request a paper copy of any electronic record at no charge by contacting us. Requesting paper does not withdraw your consent unless you do so separately.

3. Withdrawing Consent

You may withdraw consent to electronic records at any time. Withdrawing consent may limit your ability to use Remote Online Notarization and other electronic services.

4. Updating Contact Information

You agree to keep your email address and contact information current in your account settings.

5. Hardware & Software Requirements

You will need a current web browser, a stable internet connection, a webcam and microphone for RON sessions, a government-issued photo ID, and the ability to view PDF files.

6. Electronic Signatures Are Legally Binding

Under ESIGN and UETA, an electronic signature carries the same legal effect as a handwritten signature when applied with intent to sign and proper authentication.

7. Notarial Certificates

Electronic notarial certificates affixed by a commissioned notary using NexusSeal include the notary’s electronic seal and signature and meet the requirements of the notary’s jurisdiction.
